It really seems the Spring Market has begun - we've been wonderfully busy the last few weeks. There are more buyers out visiting open houses. Better yet, there are many more opens scheduled for this weekend than we have seen in several months.

Open Houses:

Finally, we have multiple pages of open houses in Evanston, Wilmette and Winnetka. Buyers seem to be coming out as the weather gets nicer, the Super Bowl and Olympics are over. Oh yes, prices for most homes have come down, too. There are three data points I look at: the number of opens; the numbers of homes under contracts; and the closing prices of homes that SOLD. These three are great indicators of activity in the market. We have seen a strong increase in the last few weeks; I expect that to continue well into May and June.

We have two opens - 1035 Linden and 227 17th, both in Wilmette. Come on by to see us.
